[DOCTRINE]

Field Manual

Standing regulations for applicants and recruits, published so nobody can claim ignorance. Read before applying. Asking a question answered below is noted in your file.

REG-001How do I join the GIA?[+]
Submit an intake dossier — form GIA-NMI-001. Answer every question honestly and completely, sign the oath with your IGN, and transmit. There is no other entrance. Members who vouch for you can speed review, but everyone files a dossier, no exceptions.
REG-002What happens after I submit?[+]
You receive a case file number — save it. GIA Command reviews dossiers within 24–72 hours and cross-references your answers against server records. Track your case at /status. If accepted, you'll be contacted on Discord by Command. Do not message the agency asking about your application; that is what the status page is for.
REG-003My application was rejected. Can I appeal?[+]
No. Decisions are final. Unless your case file says BURNED, you may reapply in a future enrollment cycle — a stronger record on the server is the only appeal the agency recognizes. Burned applicants are blacklisted permanently.
REG-004What is expected of a Footsoldier?[+]
Obedience and competence. Footsoldiers follow orders from their commanding General, demonstrate the skills they declared, and survive without committing an OPSEC violation. You will be told little and tested often — this is by design. Promotion to Operative follows proven fieldwork; see the clearance hierarchy for the full ladder.
REG-005What are the OPSEC rules?[+]
The short version: coordinates never leave the channel they were shared in; identities are verified before anything sensitive is discussed; agency business stays out of public channels, including your application and your case number; and you assume every stranger is a rival's asset until proven otherwise. The full doctrine is issued at Footsoldier level.
REG-006I have alt accounts. Is that a problem?[+]
Alts are an asset — undeclared alts are an offense. List every account on your intake dossier. Discovering an undeclared account after acceptance is treated as concealment and reviewed as potential double agency.
REG-007What happens to traitors?[+]
Burned. Removal, permanent blacklist, publication on the Wall of Traitors, and standing engagement orders in the field. 2b2t is anarchy; the agency operates within that context without mercy for traitors. This is in the oath you sign.
REG-008Who do I contact with questions?[+]
Applicants: nobody — everything you're entitled to know is on this site. Accepted Footsoldiers: your commanding General, via the channel they contact you on. Unsolicited messages to senior personnel are logged and count against you.
REG-009Does membership cost anything?[+]
Nothing is bought and nothing is sold. The agency runs on contribution and loyalty: hours in the field, intelligence delivered, operations completed. Anyone offering to sell you a rank or clearance is a scammer — report it and see REG-007 for what happens to them.
REG-010Is this whole intelligence agency thing serious?[+]
It's a block game. It is also the oldest anarchy server in Minecraft, where information genuinely decides who keeps their base and who loses two years of work. We take the craft seriously, the aesthetic seriously, and ourselves exactly as seriously as 2b2t deserves. The vetting, however, is real.
