BACKGROUND: Footsoldier Facility #1, located at                     , served as the Agency's primary staging ground for enlisted operatives. In the weeks prior to this incident, Operator judeBasty was assigned a field mission by GIA Command: infiltrate                 , a designated hostile organization, and report from within. judeBasty successfully gained entry and was accepted as a recruit. At this point, the hostile organization — not GIA — issued judeBasty a proving mission of their own: infiltrate a third-party group (                ) to demonstrate loyalty. This order did not originate from GIA Command.

GIA Command recognized an opportunity in this development. Rather than abort the operation, Command moved to contact                  leadership directly and propose a coordinated deception: the third-party group would allow judeBasty's infiltration to appear successful, while GIA fed false coordinates through him back to the hostile organization. Both parties stood to gain. The coordination meeting was underway when the third-party group revealed what they had found.

INTELLIGENCE FAILURE — AGENT BURNED: During the coordination meeting,                  leadership surfaced judeBasty's application to their organization. In it, judeBasty had voluntarily disclosed that he was actively conducting infiltration operations against both GIA and the hostile organization he had been assigned to penetrate on GIA's behalf. He was not carrying out a double assignment — he was freelancing his access to every party simultaneously, unprompted, apparently believing this made him valuable rather than terminal. The disclosure was confirmed via application record. judeBasty was burned immediately. No appeal was considered.

PHASE I — EVACUATION: Upon confirmation of the breach, Footsoldier Facility #1 was placed under immediate evacuation protocol. All materiel — approximately ten double chests of mixed resources accumulated during the facility's operational period — was extracted and relocated to a secure staging point. No inventory was abandoned.

PHASE II — SUBJECT NEUTRALIZATION ATTEMPT: Four agents, already on-site, received orders to pull judeBasty's ender pearl and execute a crystal engagement upon emergence. The pearl was pulled. judeBasty activated four totem of undying in rapid succession. He then disconnected from the server. Agents immediately constructed an obsidian containment enclosure around his logout position. All beds at the facility were bed-trapped — subject's exact sleeping location was uncertain; all possible beds were addressed. The trap holds. If he logs back in, he does not leave the same way he arrived.

PHASE III — CONTROLLED DEMOLITION: By direct order of the Emperor, agents on-site were authorized to self-grief the facility. The order was executed. Footsoldier Facility #1 no longer exists at its former coordinates. Its destruction was not the result of enemy action — it was denied to the enemy. The facility fell on GIA terms.

ASSESSMENT: The breach originated at intake. judeBasty disclosed his dual allegiance on an external organization's application — a failure of operational security so complete that it was, paradoxically, only detectable through the very coordination channel the deception operation created. Had GIA Command not directly engaged with third-party leadership, the disclosure would have gone undetected. The deception operation caught its own architect.

No GIA materiel was lost to the enemy. No coordinates were confirmed as compromised beyond the facility itself, which has since been destroyed. STRATEGIC GAIN: The operation that was meant to exploit                  instead introduced GIA Command to their leadership under contact conditions that proved their intentions immediately. They surfaced the breach without being asked. They did not attempt to leverage it. The coordination meeting that was intended to orchestrate a deception ended instead with a mutual understanding.
